Read first: I sincerely hope you find the girls golf scholarship information you're looking for here. If you're trying to figure out (1) what scores you have to shoot to get a scholarship, (2) how to maximize your exposure for college golf coaches, or even just trying to (3) find all of the girls college golf teams in your area those things are all in this site. If you have any questions or there's content you'd like to see on here just leave a comment and I'll personally get back to you and find the answers to your questions. This site is monitored daily by a real person.
I've been getting a lot of questions and since I don't have time to answer all of them I'm referring everyone to a book that answers what I'm being asked, including: contact information for every women's college golf coach/program, a sample letter to send them, etc. You can get the book with all the information about girls college golf scholarships here (link opens to the book's website). This is the only resource that I recommend and I genuinely think that if it gets you even 1% closer to getting a scholarship then it's money well spent and worth the investment. If you're not looking to spend any money, there's plenty of free information on this blog that should answer pretty much all of your questions. If you don't see the answers to your questions the posts, then ask them in the comments sections and I'll answer them ASAP. I"m trying to post a couple of times a week anyway, so that'll give me something to talk about.

Junior College Girls Golf Scholarships

Junior college girls golf scholarships are a great option for lots of high school golfers. The community college system gives out more girls golf scholarships than JUCO boys golf scholarships. There are also more junior college girls golf scholarships out there men's or women's NCAA Division-I or D-II scholarships.

There are 525 junior college athletic programs in the US at the time of this writing. 86 of those schools have girls golf scholarships. Basically, only about 16.4% of all the community college sports programs have girls golf. That percentage might seem relatively small to a glass half empty kind of person. A more optimistic way to look at this is there are a whopping 86 junior college golf programs out there and it's likely that many of them have excess scholarships that go unused every year. The easiest way to win some scholarships money is to be the only one competing for the cash. That's practically what happens if you're the only person going after a girls golf scholarship that will otherwise go completely unused and be wasted.

Here's a list of all the junior college girls golf scholarship schools in the US. Each of these schools links to another page on this block where you can find the city that the school is in, a link to the school's website, and the Wikipedia page about the school. Those pages are otherwise pretty thin in terms of content, but I hope that over time people will comment on the schools if they know something about the coach, the school, the area, or whatever. If you're familiar with any of these girls golf programs by all means please leave a comment. It might help someone else make a more informed decision about an important life decision. My advice is to check out the schools in your state and contact the golf programs. It's likely these schools don't have big recruiting budgets, which means that it's possible they could overlook you. Do yourself a favor and personally make sure you get on their radars. Even if this is your backup plan, it's common practice to have a safety school on the line and generally just a good idea to make sure all your bases are covered when it comes to making sure nothing goes wrong with your education.

I also post one of these soon for NCAA schools. That list has over 250 schools, so it's taking me a while to get all the information together.
